Parent of P6 Chong Yi Rou - Queenstown Primary School:
Yi Rou was struggling with Maths and had no self-confidence. She tend to fear Maths homework from school. After lesson with Mr Gerald, she steadily understood Maths concepts and different topics about being taught. She managed to solve more questions and problems, especially problem sums. Slowly, she gained more confidence in herself and enjoyed her maths lessons. It is totally beneficial to have classes with Mr Gerald Tay. He is kind and patient. He explains the problems in many different ways in order to make sure the student gets it and knows how to solve them. Efficient. With the teacher's kindness and patience, and his capability to explain the lessons, my child have improved considerably in such a short period of time. Thank you very much!

Parent of P6 Mikken Chu - Geylang Methodist Primary School:
Mikken has been getting borderline marks in his Mathematics. Tutor Gerald has been very patient and strategically plan out Mikken's study plan for his PSLE preparation. Gerald has been in constant communication with me as the parents in terms of areas where we worked together to help Mikken in his Maths. I like Gerald's never give up attitude and guidance for the past couple of months. Gerald has been a motivator to Mikken too which pushed him to excel in his PSLE. Mikken improved tremendously from AL6 to AL2 under Gerald's supervision and teaching. I can see that Mikken love Gerald's way of teaching and how he is motivated by Gerald's classes. He has proved to Gerald that he can excel from AL6 to AL2 where he surprised all of us. I'm very grateful to have Gerald involved in Mikken's PSLE preparation. Well done Gerald!

P4 Alvin Koh - Admiralty Primary School:
I have some difficulties learning about the topic before I went to Tutor Gerald. When I went to Mindstretcher, I didn't even improve marks. After meeting Tutor Gerald I have been able to achieve higher marks and from AL2 to AL1 for my maths weighted assessment paper. I will recommend to my friend who wish to get higher marks to Teacher Gerald because he will teach you techniques on how to solve questions and give more challenging problems solving questions if exams are around the corner.

Parent of P5 Ezekiel Lim - Unity Primary School:
Ezekiel was weak in understanding the questions under SAQ and LAQ. Get many wrongs in assignment in school. After lesson with teacher Gerald, he improved in his understanding and can better work on LAQ which are more challenging. He is patient and always trying to find new method to help the child to understand and improve his weak areas. Lesson with him is rewarding. Result can be seen from both sharing between teacher and student. My child has grown both mentally and in academic. Each lesson is fruitful. Hard to find a teacher which put student in the first place and going extra mile.

P6 Jarius Leong - Anderson Primary School:
Jairus was weak in few topics and was not able to use the right concept to solve it. Thus, it affected his confidence level in attempting questions that he finds it difficult; especially questions in Paper 2. With Tutor Gerald, he has developed/learned way to solve questions in Paper 2. Jairus was able to apply method learned from Tutor Gerald to solve questions that he was not able to do it previously. Thereafter, he develop confidence to attempt questions that he does not want to attempt before. To describe my child learning journey, Jairus is more positive now. He has gained confidence in attempting questions that he doesn’t even want to try previously. There was great improvement before and after engaging Tutor Gerald for Jairus, and his grade has also improved to AL4 for his PSLE. We believe this is due to the teaching approach; observe and tackling his weakness. A 'friendlier' approach compared to Jairus's previous tutor in the centre.
